From Feb. 27 to March 21 Delta College’s L.H. Horton Gallery hosts “Theme of Black Identity in America.”
The opening will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 27. It features readings from With Our Words Youth Poetry Collective.”
Other special events during February celebrating Black History Month include an art lecture with Milton Bowens. The lecture be 3 p.m. today (Feb. 21). The event is free and open to the public.
Another event is the “Question Bridge: Black Males Film” screening with artist Chris Johnson on March 10 at 12:30 p.m. at the Tillie Lewis Theatre. It is also free and open to the public.
